Widest / Most Aggressive wheels on a sedan?
No, I'm pretty sure that was the reason.
BTW, nice Golden taking a nap. My sister's fiance has a Golden named Mojo. He's a total spaz and tears around the house knocking stuff over, but then he sits there and stares at you with those big browns. It's impossible to get mad at him. Great dog. Oh, nice car too.

That's really mean looking from the rear... I LIKE! Any pics from the side?
With respect, Ive gotta ask, why wouldnt you want to run as wide of a tire in the back as possible? 285s on 19x9.5 +49 will fit with OE spec camber, 295 will fit with fender rolling. This gives tire from the fender to the strut. I have 255s up front... More tire = more grip I thought and that means better corner performance and better grip at launch. Is this just a looks thing that an older guy like me dosent get?

Personally, I don't like the stretched look. I prefer a fatter tire in the back especially, but unless I'm putting a lot more power to my wheels, there's no advantage to super-sizing my setup.

only one as of now ill take more some time next week before I start my Project
you are correct that more tire=more grip, but honestly, unless you are making a lot more hp than stock, there really is no need for a 295 or anything close. on my vehicle, the tires that i am running are wider than oem specs to begin with. for me, the tire stretching thing is really to just pull off the "flush" look. i daily drive my g35 and i do not take corners hard or launch the vehicle so there is no need for a wide tire.
Unless I'm mistaken a G isn't exactly a featherweight car. Sure if you bought a Japanese model you could get it w/ 16" steelies and likely 205's but that doesn't mean you should. A bit bigger tire won't hurt it too much. Tipping the tire on the corner after stretching it an inch wider than it was might adversely affect performance but then again it looks like you have to drive pretty carefully given how low your car is anyway.
My car drives like stock mostly(minor tracking over 18 wheeler grooves) and I can still break the rear tires free if I want (although I don't very often b/c I value my clutch and diff). It doesn't understeer too badly but that's b/c there are 255's up front. I get some slight rubbing on the rear tire against the strut when entering my parking deck at a hard angle but a 2.5mm spacer should fix that. I still get over 20mpg on the highway and tire wear is mostly even despite the mild lowering.
The only real downside thus far has been company I went to get my fenders rolled butchered the job and my fenders look like they were cut w/ a can opener. I'm too busy w/ work/school/buying a home to worry about the damned car right now so the bodywork, spacers, and more power will have to wait a little while.
Can anyone help me out, Im looking at some 1 piece forged Lorenzos for my sedan, they are 9.5 width for the rear, +35, will that fit without rubbing? I had to send my 10" wide Sevas s55 back last year due to rubbing... dont want another nightmare.
Thanks
Thanks
