New G35 owner with some questions...!!!

Hello all,

Great forum. I just picked up a 2003 G35 sedan from a private owner. The only thing she needs immediately is a new set of tires. I did some quick searches and most of the results discussed sizing options. I took a look at Tire Rack and they have Yokohama AVS4 pretty cheap. I am looking for a nice quiet tire. I am happy with how the car handles with the stock tires. They're just too load since they are worn out.

Also, I have the black and silver interior. Is there away to change to the wood? The factory wood. I am probably one of few that likes the wood over the silver.

And what about spoiler options? I see alot of them on eBay. I think the smaller lip style would be cool.

Anyway, thank for in advance for your feedback.

congrats on the G...yokos are pretty good, but dont know about the noise...i think you can get wood dash trim overlays on ebay...and about your spoiler, theres the oem look alike on ebay, or get the m3 look lip or go to grubbsinfiniti.com and they have a really nice looking spoiler for the sedan...

If you want a quiet, comfortable tire, look for something in the "touring" or "grand touring" categories on TireRack. Those classes of tires are designed to be sporty, but not at the cost of noise/comfort.

Thank you all for your responses. I just picked up a set of Yoko A430. They were cheap and seem to ride well. We'll see how they wear.

Hey dul311, how are the tires working out. I was looking to get the same set. Did you go with the 215 or 225's?
