Think I got a good deal, you tell me though...

So I have been pricing out leasing, buying, etc for a while, and I am looking at base or base plus sunroof, sport, and aero 06 sedans. I just got quoted a price of 28,145 on a base sedan. Invoice appears to be 29548 from what I can tell, so 1400 under invoice seems like a deal I should ****** up? As well as giving synthetic oil changes for the life of the car, and the 2.95 for 60 (yes I will be approved for it) Sounds like a great deal but wanted to check in here first. I would like to get more options, but the premium package doesn't seem like a biggie to me, so if I do, I will get aero, and sport but nothing else.

Sounds like a good deal to me. Maybe they're clearing the lots for the 07s already?

K, I am battling decisions big time, but am getting one of these 2 choices tomorrow after work.

Option A: Buy it. 28142, 2k down, 467 a month, base model.

Option B: Lease it. 2k down, 377 a month incl taxes, BUT premium. I got such a low payment by having the residual higher....so my question therein lies, is there anything wrong with going with a higher residual to keep the payment down if you know you are not going to want to keep the car?

Anything I am not thinking of? how much higher is insurance usually with a lease over a car you own?

If you can wait you'll probably get a smokin deal on an '06 in a few months when the '07s come out... That's what I would do. If you must have now the non-sport is a fine car... personally I chose non-sport because eventually all will be replaced with aftermarket mods anyway.

Just my .02
