Hello! Just got 06 sport/auto/Ppak B

Very fine sport sedan, marvelous engine! no question about that! After driving 3 series BMWs sport for the past 7 years, was time for a change. It does compare favorable to BMW. I believe Infiniti did a great job developing this car. I know the new body style will come out at the end of the year, but I think the current body style is both agressive and unique at the same time.
Question, the car feels a little twitchy close to the handling limits. Is this due to the rubber? Good Years? I''ve been hearing the term "progressive springs" on the rear setup. Can anyone elaborate on this?
Thanks in advance!!

exmbguy, the rear springs are liner, not progressive, which means as they compress the spring rates stays constant (or nearly constant within a certain range of compression). the twitchyness could be from your tires, i'd suggest hotchkis or 350z springs or a full coilover setup

Thanks AbsoluteG!

Not planning any performance enhancing mods in the near future, just to T/ windows.
The car handles good enough for most situations, the thing is, i'm not yet 100 percent at ease with the current feel of the susp/tire combo.....300 miles only. Maybe, after the tires are broken in , will be a different story.
Very happy with the car regardless!!
