BTW (anyone), how long should I wait for an alignment? I have an appointment (for alignment) sched next Thur and I won’t be able to have springs installed until Mon which gives only 3-4 days for the springs to settle... I've been told the springs won’t fully settle for 500-1000 miles. Would it be a waste to align within 3-4 days of install?
I had eibach prokits you will NEED to monitor your tire wear if you are not going to get the camber kit. The prokits cased un even wear in my tires down to the steel belting in the 7K mile interval after my last tire rotation and balance. At the time the tires I had (Toyos) had 5K miles on them. The springs were great and handle well. Take your car to another shop and get them to check your camber/toe specs to make sure it's not going to cause an expensive tire replacement down the line.
i would wait on the aligment until after the 500 mile mark.

BTW, I had thought about waiting 500-1000 miles after spring install for alignment but I recently got new tires too - so an alignment now is needed anyway... also I spoke to Darin at West End (where I'm getting my alignment done) and he suggested doing it now then again in about 8-12 months. Makes sense and since he is reported to be about the best alignment tech around I trust what he's telling me...

My point is to be aware that there is the possiblity that you can wear your tires with out a camber kit it could have been just my experience but I wouldn't feel like a g35driver if I didn't share with you what happened with me.

I purchased new tires and brought the SPC rear camber kit and was going to get the front camber kit when it came out but it turned out to not be cost effective. The rear camber kit was 200-235 and the front was 400-500 range. That is more than I actually paid for springs and getting the car lowered. I sold the rear camber kit and put my factory springs back on and I will wait and see the long term effects of 350z/G35 coupe springs on our sedans.
