It seems the lousy drivers seat was fixed in recent years. My 2003 is pretty uncomfortable. But the 2006 loner I had a couple of weeks ago was very comfy compared to the 2003.

I went to see the doctor, it appears I'm exeriencing sciatic or something..
so I'm going to PT soon.
I don't know whether it was the seat that caused it, or from work.
But I know for sure when I'm in my G driving for over 40+ miles my lower back starting to hurt.....

I wonder if dealer is willing to replace my driver seat to an 06.....

They might.

The other option is to maybe buy a coupe seat or 06 seat.

I noticed that infiniti has solved the problem with the 07 sedan model. They seem to use the same seat design, however the electronics are on the left lower part of the seat as it should be. Does anyone know how much it would cost to purchase a seat for a new car? Also, would it even fit in an 04 sedan?

I'm going to call Infiniti tomorrow.
If they won't change it.....I don't know if I even want to drive the G anymore...
unless I buy an after market seat or maybe 350z seat.

Dealer said they never got any complains about the seat.

Anyone know how I can go about approaching it?

Do a Left vs. Right Front Seat Swap! The controls will be
moved to the out-side edge.

I went from an 03 sedan to an 06 coupe. IMO the sedan had more comfortable seats.

a lawsuit will get you no where. You didn't have to buy the car and you don't have to keep the car. Unless the seat has caused some deleterious effects on your future help you really have no claim.

Also experienced discomfort with the drivers seat, the seat control area rubbing on the outside of my right thigh, but did what teedo said and all is better now!
