Definetly looks better dropped... why don't you just mount 'em on and see? I don't think someone elses opinion will matter whether the rims will look good on your car or not.

Sorry bud, 9.5's won't fit in front, and your X can't take a staggered setup...

If you stick your hand in your front fenders, you will see that they are already pretty much "rolled" from the factory. At least compared to the rear fenders...I've only seen one G sedan with a 9" wheel (pnut) and he had to run tons of negative camber to get it to clear the fender and suspension. You might want to try upsizing your tires to 255/35/19 on your 8.5"s because there's nothing else you can really do...

well, i didnt want to fill up the gap (since the 350z gap was supposed to do that) I wanted wider because I liked the large lip I saw on the other penta setups.

btw!

the car is ROCK SOLID with the stiffened 350Z suspension
no more lurching on accel or brake. Roll has been reduced drastically (I havent pushed it thru corners yet, but I can feel it w/ lane change on highway)

i am very happy with this setup. it is not too low either - just perfect

Wow...nice. I am so tempted to drop it after seeing yours. Did you get the revised or unrevised z springs? Also, how come the fender gap on the last picture is much bigger than the picture above it? Is the last picture the BEFORE picture?

How much did it cost for the springs installation? Also, how many miles were the springs. I see alot of 350z springs for sale but seen unrevised ones as high as 40k miles which is kinda high I think.

yea lol, last picture is way before (stock tailights and old clearcorners shown too)

i got revised Z...but only b/c i wanted the stiffer set. its only been a day, but i love the ride very much.

i got them installed from a friend of a friend mechanic who owns a supercharged g (and he did all the work so he knew what he is doing) it was a great job that went without any problems. he was located in merrick, so unfortunetly i had to take a train back and forth. the going rate for spring install in the nyc area is like 200 bucks. the 350z springs are like 80 bucks off the forums.

favorite thing i have done so far! no more 4x4 for me! there is plenty of clearence underneth as well

my springs came with like 60 miles on em

Merrick Road in LI? Does he do installs for other people? I've been looking at unrevised ones because the spring rates match up better to the X. Unfortunately the unrevised ones have been around so it's been used. Saw this one for $105 bucks shipped and only 12k miles for 04 springs. With the stiffer springs that you got, wouldn't you kill the rear shocks real fast?
