Happy with sedan's trunk size?n

For the most part, the trunk is well designed and is a decent size. Only until my brother (has an 2002 Altima) commented that the trunk was small did I begin to wonder. Then my buddy stopped by (he has a Passat) I looked in his trunk. The Passat has a deep trunk, very deceptive.

I always carry a portable hydraulic jack which is secured with bungee cords and a few other safety and cleaning products in the cargo net so that takes up some space. I have had to maneveur things around when going on vacation with a few pieces of luggage.

What do you guys think? Is the trunk adequate for your needs?

The trunk fit's my needs. I probably gave up a small amount of space to have the reclining rear seats. What I really like is how the trunk hinges work. It makes the trunk come down on top of your load rather than crushing it. That way you can fill'er up to the top and still get the trunk closed. This is especially handy when I am doing rounds for my boss Vinny.

No problem here. I can fit at least 2 bodies and the shovel in the trunk at the same time.

Big enough... the punk and his Civic (what was left of it) fit quite easily last Saturday night.

Yeah, but in the desert, you really need the shovel... Now in the swamps of Florida, we never needed the shovel... Bodies just sank to the bottom and the gators got them...

Truedat Sho dog, the engineers were clever when they thought of how the trunk should close. The pass thru is okay but nothing like the 60/40 fold down.

As for the other responses you guys watch too many BBT and Good fella movies.

It's a question of practicality. Once the two bodies and the shovel are inside, the rest of the space is wasted in my opinion.

Back to the original question, this thing fits a full weeks worth of clothes for me and my 3 kids no problem along with extra oil, windex, water, snacks, etc.

I had a 2002 altima with 2 10's in a box and still had more room in there than I do with the G, but come on, that thing is freaking huge.

I got my Jeep and my trailer when I need more room.

Was anybody really thinking about trunk space when they bought their G? I know I wasn't...

Well I use my Taurus for hauling duties since that thing has a mammoth trunk. The trunk size of my G sedan is plenty large.

Re: Happy with sedan's trunk size?n
compared to my prelude, the G's trunk can fit quite a lot more. but yeah, too bad it can't be a little wider to accomodate for some of those mammoth suitcases.

for those of you who haul around dead bodies, i hope you scotch guard your trunk mats.
