What?! No way!! I get about 240 max. I do most of my driving in City, but still there is not way I can get near 300 with the AC on. I've started driving with the AC off to see if I can get a higher mileage.

I do about 280 miles for a full tank of gas. A little more if I use the highway. I hardly use the highway.

Get 300 max...exacetly 150 at the half and as soon as the light comes on, im at 280. But I live in Houston and I have to drive with the AC alway On. Hopefully when it gets cooler, it will get better.
Yes, I fill up when I have 300 mikes of city driving. Of course
I run it till the needle is at empty and the light is on.
You know that there is up to 4 gallons of gas left
when the low fuel light comes on. Even with 300 city miles
and the low gas light on, I can only get 17-18 gallons of
gas into the 20 gallon tank.

Me too Cato, 300 city about 400 highway.
I could have written your post. Talk about consistency. It seems we have similar driving patterns and our cars net the same results.
My G's fuel light came on lastnight at 284 miles and that was mostly city driving and a trip to Danbury Conn, with speeds ranging from 60- 100mph. I was on I84 and I684 in NYand Conn, nice open smooth roads. It is so hard not to use the manumatic and drive at 60 mph. I am addicted to 3rd gear at 60 mph, the rest you know.
I often drive my car to the limit just to see how far I can go with the fuel light on. I too can't seem to ever get more than 17-18 gallons of gas when I fill up. It seems many us get similar gas mileage but I know my spirited driving accounts for my poor mileage. I need another road trip at civil speeds to really make a fair assessment.

Boy, I don't know how everyone is driving their cars, but i can easily pull 450-500 Miles on a full tank. Most of my driving is highway, and i average 23-25 mpg. I've never dropped below 23. I even didn't fall below 23 when i was using the AC during the summer (although I didn't need to use it every day - I'm located in upstate NY).

Gas mileage on the Highway is a big difference from stop and go and constant acceleration changes of city driving. How are u driving when on the highway? What speed are u averaging? I know my spirited driving accounts for my mileage but I am curious how fast do u drive when u are on th highway?

Like cmpterman2, I can get Max. 475 miles on a tank. But that's very careful driving at only the speed limit.
Time consuming and boring but otherwise productive.
This completely drained the tank which then took just about 20 gallons (US) to refill.

Los Angeles / Orange County: 5am commute in at 80mph (25 minutes), afternoon commute home at 40-65mph (1hr+)
A/C always on, spirited driver - and I get around 280 to 300 miles on a full tank.

When I commuted 120 miles/day, 90% highway @85mph, I consistently averaged 400 miles per tank... and filling up with 18.5 - 19 gallons each time.
The most I've ever gotten in the tank at fillup is 19.5gallons...430 miles to that tank.
