Whats the avg size of all you sedan driving folk?
Why do you even need to be able to reach the seat controls easily? I just set the seats twice, one setting for everyday driving and another for long distance... other people who even get to sit in the driver's seat can manually set their own seats and mirrors, etc...

well for myself, its not about easy access to the controls, its the fact each thigh measures 33 inches.
all the sprints from 4 years of college football, football since i was 5, and workouts for training in professional wrestling, is the main reason i am hoping the seat controls arent as big as an issue...
Christ. I can honestly say I've never measured my thighs, but I have measured my waist, and it's 32 inches...
I'm 5'8" and 175, and I've never had any problems with the seat controls. My longest trip has been about 6 hours or so.

I don't touch the left side bolster when I sit and I barely touch the right side bolster but the elevation in the right side bolster irritates my leg. I'm not some huge fat *** trying to squeeze into a little seat but the sedan seats do leave much to be desired. To this day, the Mazda3 still has the best seats ever.

I'm a big boy, 5'10", 320lb. I'm comfortable in the G. It took a long drive to get a real comfortable position. The buttons on the seat don't bother no more. I forget they are there, though I would have preffered that they were placed on the left side or on the center console.

I thought I had a problem because I had to start and move my car without the driver's seat installed. I just had to reset the airbag control module and the light has been out since.
The other problem I had was the plugs did not match up. Mine is an 04' but I don't know what year coupe the seats came out of (never asked). I had to cut the plug off my old seats and wire them into the coupe's. For some reason the coupe seats have more wires and after some research in the ESM I was able to find out what most of them were. The coupe seats have a control module in the seat and I think the sedan has it somewhere else because they were things like speed sensor, door trigger, etc. Anyway they work fine now and are a huge improvement.
Also they sit lower in the car so anyone who is having headroom issues could gain from the swap. The drivers still has the front/rear up/down so I was able to put it right about where it was before which was perfect. I do miss the power recline but it was worth it for the extra support.
