Lowered my X today.

Hello all,

Finally lowered my X today. It's running on 350z unrevised springs on the stock shocks. Bought the springs from the forum and thank Da Mayor for hooking me up at his mechanic to do the installation. Didn't really drive that much today but the car definitely lowered by alot. Lowered more than I expected and I am afraid the rear might actually hit the fender. The car is more stable at corners now and a little less body roll. It's also a little more bumpy. Went over a speed bump before at normal speeds and it bouced and jumped a bit (not sure if it touched the rear fender). Should of gotten 40 profile tires instead. Oh well...Most people said their rear is two tight fingers but mines seems like 2 super tight fingers

As for the look, it's way better now without that 4x4 fender gap. Alrite, enough writing...here are some pictures...

Sorry, I didn't get to wash the car lately and it's quite dirty.

Stock 17's...

18 sports...

sweet ride all and all.

Haha...normal fingers dude...

If I were you, I would go with rwd+6mt, at least that's what I would do if I had another chance.

looks real nice, my question is which 350z spring is better revised or unrevised, which makes it lower, what is the difference anyway, sorry for asking if it has been asked.

How much did everything cost, including installation?

Another thing I noticed is, the front inner fender and the rear inner fender is different. In the front, if you look from inside out on the fender, the inner layer folds up, whereas in the rear, it's flat across. This might end up touching my rear wheel under big bumps. Anyone noticed that?

I paid $90 bucks for the unrevised springs off the forum. As for installation, I rather not say it since a forum member here hooked me up with his mechanic and I don't want to disclose it without his permission.

http://6mt.net/forum/showthread.php?t=16827

i am getting a very small rattle in the rear...the same exact rattle our M45 has. but I only think it happened after we put on the 19's. i checked everything...and it seems to be fine. lugs are tightened to 100ft/lbs tho. i have hub rings on too...

If you get the car aligned can you please post your before and after resluts. Yeahdickey's resluts on his X even after going back a second time are strangely high as far as negitive camber goes, would be nice to see you post your resluts. Thanks
