i had couple problems with my G and took it to the dealer..
a/c,tranny and the driver side window...
i thought they were gonna give me a G to drive around for a rental...
but they got me a pontiac grand prix.....
the cars a piece of crap!!!!!
just LOST to a murano on the way home... soooo embrassing wen u lose to a SUV....
CANT WAIT TILL I GET MY BABY BACK!!!!!!!

The best way to get a better car is to schedule ahead of time, which can be difficult with some emergency warranty work.

If I just drove up to the dealer for my upcoming 30K service, there is no guarantee that they will have a car for me, but if I call ahead, they should. I will be getting close to my 30K by the end of July, so maybe I should schedule ahead.

What I would really like is a Manual for a loaner, mainly because I have an auto now and I would like to see how they drive. But I haven't heard of manuals being loaners. Probably like rentals, everyone can drive an auto, but many can't drive manuals.

my infiniti dealer never gives any loaner except g35's and a few M's

 

A Pontiac? Maybe the dealer wants to remind you how nice Infiniti cars are or are sick of people ******* G35 loaners.

 

i think you are being screwed with a bit.
I believe it is stated in the Infiniti Owner Experiance that you can not be denyed a loaner no matter how small the problem ( i guess unless they run out of loaners to give) and that all loaners must be Infinitis

 

There is a caveat to the guarantee of a loaner - they are for "scheduled" service. If you come in for an emergency fix, there is no way they could guarantee that a loaner would be sitting around waiting for you.

 

i am assuming he set a appointment and i am quite sure that its a standard set by nissan north america that all loaners must be infinitis unlike bmw, jaguar etc..

 

yea i did set an appoinment..
i saw everyone else driving off in a 06 G sedan for a rental...
it might be because i didnt buy my car from that dealer...
or it might be because im under 21....(??)
i dont kno...
i just cant believe an 04 pontiac GP lost to a murano.....
it looks fast....

yea--every dealership has to give you a infiniti even if you didnt buy there

i think it is because you are under 21. insurance usually does not allow them to give out vehicles to people under 21 so ya cant really argue here!

at least they gave you something! haha
