I have An 04 auto with pretty much everything but a spacer, newer RSX with all kinds of mods on it, what I don't know.
He beat me off the line just cause I forgot to switch the VDC. But as soon as I got the wheels down it was over. I was 2 cars ahead of him by 2nd gear @ 6,000 rpm s then I just quit.

i saw a video on the maxima.org site, and even the rsx-s got beaten by the 6spd max (i forgot if it was 02 or 03, they're pretty much the same) by 3rd gear... the rsx-s had intake, headers, and exhaust i recall and the max had some simple bolt-ons like intake and pulley.

i'll have to retire ye old lady, 2k2 6spd max with 59k miles soon, since the new 05 g35 6mt is begging to be driven....still awaiting a venture shield clear bra application....

Dude, just race him already. I've never understood why people come on asking stuff like "Will I beat my buddy's turbo civic, 330i, WRX, yada yada...?"
Just race. Then your question will be answered.

I'm pretty sure you'll beat him. I know "someone" that raced an RSX-s with a lightweight flywheel, intake, and exhaust. The G was an auto with no mods, the RSX was manual....2 people in the G, and 1 person in the RSX. It kept up, but never passed.

You should be OK. The RSX-S is light and the power doesn't kick in until he hits about 5500-6000 rpm. Even then you should be able to pull away on him.

Note: If the RSX-S is equipped with dual Turbonators . . . You might as well hand over your PINK slip. I know what you're thinking . . . Do ya feel lucky?

Nick! what up? One of my friends has an 05 RSX-S with headers and intake. He swears that he's beat a supercharged G coupe before, i dont beleive him obviously but he said it. I think he'll be able to keep up once the VTEC kicks in but i dont think he'll be able to pass you. JMO

Needless to say, your friend is running the dual Turbonator set-up.
