Interesting looking Matrix w/ that body kit. I've never seen a pimped out Matrix before....DAMN, that thing is low!! That reminds me....I saw a car in Montreal a few years ago (perhaps a Prelude), that was lowered just as much as yours, and on the side skirt, he had a graphic that read "No Fat B_tch_s Allowed". LMAO when I saw it! Sorry...just had to share.

RSX-s are fast cars when driven corectly, put in the hands of a good driver, it will be a close race. but I put you ahead by a little due to the VQ's Torque

In most hands the RXS-S will get beat badly, especially if the run goes from a stop. The 5AT is just so easy to launch. I can pull 2.1 60 foots with my eyes closed in the this car and a 2.1 60' to an RSX owner is a wet dream.

With that said, be careful. It is quite easy to extract nutty HP from that little 2.0 I4. An intake and Hondata ECU will easily propel a well driven sub-05 RSX into the 14.3-14.6@95-97mph range. No lie here, folks. The 05 has more power (actually slightly underrated) and better gearing. On average and stock to stock, the 05 RSX is about .3 and 1.5mph faster than the previous model years. A Hondata ECU and intake will land the car into the 14.1-14.4@97-99mph. Believe it or not, it is far easier to get the RSX deep into the 13s compared to the G35. There are tons of them in the mid to high 13 second range with nothing more than very basic and simple bolt-ons like a header, Hondata spacer, catback, DRs, light rims). There mods will take a 2,700lb 05 RSX-S from about 175whp to about 210whp.

During my last outing at the track, I ran against an 04 RSX-S with the ECU/I/E. He ran a low 14.6@96mph with a dismal 2.3 60'. I watched him run a couple 14.5s@97mph. From the numbers I've seen on this site, that's more than enough ET/MPH to hand with most 5AT sedans/coupes on this site. With a better launch, he'd easily be running 14.4s.

I traded my 05 rsx type-s for my 05 auto G35.
The rsx-s are slow until you reach around 4500rpms. If you are racing at speed the rsx should stay with you, otherwise the G should have no problem pulling away. When I first drove the G it felt much quicker throughout the powerband than the rsx. I'm not putting down the rsx, it's a nice car. I traded mine with 5000 miles just not as nice as the g! I just expected more from the rsx

i saw with my own eyes an 04 g35c 5at vs an 05 rsx type-s both stock go at it from a 40 mphroll and the rsx pulled on him twice and the 3rd time it was dead even! DONT underestimate that car in the hands of the right driver, cuz it WILL hand you your *** and leave you wondering wtf just happened. But that was from a roll, from a stop the G probably has too much torque on the takeoff for teh rsx.
