We have most of his history and did all the 7500k,15000k,30000k,60000k,105,000k services at Inskip. He did not get his oil regurlary changed here though. I saw the guy, he's an older lookin fellow and seems to love his car cause the salesman asked him if he was ready to trade it in and he said no not yet.

Actually, I am surprised that G needed a radiator in only 3 years. Must not have been flushing/maintaining the coolant properly.
I would be willing to bet, the cooling system was never serviced properly, or perhaps there was some damage to the radiator, who knows.........

Dont compare Infiniti with a Honda , i think Honda's are much more reliable than Nissan products

Well, I've a '97 Maxima SE with 135k miles and its been very reliable. No problem with my radiator. I do drain and fills every three years using Nissan coolant.

According to Wards and JD Power & Associates, the 95-99 Infinti I30/Maxima (same chassis, VQ30) is more reliable than Accords and Camrys of the same years. Honda has had it's problems too. Their 5AT trannies (used in the CL/TL, Accord, Oddessy) were recalled because so many failed. I've owned two Hondas (86 Accord, 90 CX Si) and they were great. My 96 Maxima was great too. I sold it with 113K miles and it never went in for warranty work. It also had about 140 1/4 mile passes on the OEM clutch will still held like new. I have faith that my G35 will be fine. The VQ series motors are damn near bulletproof and the 5AT (same one used in the Titan/Q45/M45) is more than up to the task of handling the power.

I had a '97 QX4 with 141K (bought it brand new), and that car had been through everyting! it got rear-ended, drove into a snowbank up in the mountains, it rear-ended someone else, it was stolen at the Infiniti dealer when it was in for a 90K service (and recovered a month later), it's seen -30 degrees up to 115 degrees, ran into a guard rail, and not to mention that it had two 16 year old drivers behind the wheel of it (which most of the accidents were because of the young drivers). It was a great SUV. It started to have a few problems, but nothing major. I Just traded it in for my '06 G35X and this car is MY car...no one else is driving it.

Lovin' it!

good to know--I wonder if there are other G sedans with more mileage than that?
