When I was looking I was trying to decide if I liked that color. It seems green and the red colors could be had for noticably less. I saw one in person and the green metallic wasn't dark enough for me.

I've gotten nothing but compliments from everybody that sees the car because it is such a rare color. I think I've only seen 2 others on the road in the 4 years and 1 month that I've had this car.

is that a stock color?
Yup, sure was! The color was only offered for 03-04 sedans.Originally Posted by 03silver

Wow, I have never seen a G sedan this color. At least you know from the ad that "THE VEHICLE STARTS AND DRIVES GREAT." A lot of other cars I have seen for sale don't START all that great.
I know, I know its a salvage title but it still sounds like something you say about an old lawn mower. IT STARTS GREAT!

If it was as described,
Quote:
THIS VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A RIGHT REAR QUARTER PANEL ACCIDENT (A RELATIVELY A SMALL AND HARMLESS ACCIDENT_. THE QUARTER WAS PROFESSIONALLY REPLACED ALONG WITH THE REAR BUMPER COVER. AS YOU CAN SEE, THIS CAR IS BACK TO THE FACTORY ORIGINAL SHAPE.
I don't think it would be a "salvaged" title, isn't that usually when a car has been totalled and someone rebuilds it? I think it is in this state.THIS VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A RIGHT REAR QUARTER PANEL ACCIDENT (A RELATIVELY A SMALL AND HARMLESS ACCIDENT_. You might be right, I just assumed it was since the seller says:
Quote:
WE ARE YOUR SOURCE FOR WHOLESALE SALVAGE DEALS!!!
and the ad said:WE ARE YOUR SOURCE FOR WHOLESALE SALVAGE DEALS!!!
Quote:
THIS IS A SALVAGE REBUILT VEHICLE
As well as the fact that it says:THIS IS A SALVAGE REBUILT VEHICLE

Type of Title: Salvage
At least it starts great!Type of Title: Salvage

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but to qualify for a salvage title, wouldn't the car had to been wrecked to over 75% of it's value? Replacing a quarter panel and bumper cover isn't going to qualify for a salvage title. There had to be a lot more damage than they're leading on to.
As for the green, it's okay, but it is a hell of a lot better than that wierd blue or red they had. Like Jeff noted, the green, baby blue, and red cars do seem to sell for less. They might be rare colors, but they're most likely rare because most people don't like the color

If you wanted to compare, try benchmarking against these guys. They seem reputable...

That's the way it is in NM Dave, plus, I know someone who bought a salvaged title car, why I don't know, but their insurance co only will sell them liability, no collision.Originally Posted by DaveB
