Infiniti symbol on aftermarket grille

I just installed a mesh grille on my car. I want to put the infiniti symbol on and was wondering if anyone has any experience putting one on a mesh or billet grille. I doubt double-sided tape will do the trick. This isn't my car but looks like this.

Sorry for the link. I inserted the pic but it was too big.

Oh yeah, where can I get an extra emblem?

I've been interested in an aftermarket grill for some time...Where'd you get it? How much was it? Any other pics from different angles?

Thanks!

Thanks! I take it you're pretty happy with it? Do the cable ties hold it fairly securely? Can you see the cable ties after the install?

Taking a look at the install instructions, it looks pretty cool. The powder coated black is definitely the way to go no matter what color car you have.

I noticed that the grill is very similar to the "rain gutter protectant" mesh I found at Home Depot. The only difference is that this mesh looks flat vs. the slight curve the HD mesh had. I think the HD mesh was something like $5-10. Oh one other difference is getting the rubber trim surround, but I assume that would be easy to locate.

I used the HD mesh to create a very similar grill on my 97 Prelude SH a few years ago. It took some time to cut the metal using tin snips....but I assume a dremel (or some other type of rotary cutter) would work much faster now.

Maybe I'll give it a shot...just locating a flat mesh piece would be ideal. Spray painting the mesh should be easy. If I do, I'll do a DIY.

OH...forgot to answer your original question...trying to locate an Infiniti symbol. Besides the dealer, I assume you could keep looing on ebay. Otherwise, you can try to get one from a wrecking yard.

This site doesn't seem to have any cars without front end damage...but you can always keep checking if you're not in a hurry. They might go for cheap here (but I've never inquired about anything...so unsure about the prices).

two things i've done in the past. if its a metal emblem, like a custom made badge (gift shops can do it relatively cheap) you can weld or braze a bolt or two on the back and then basically install it through the grill with a plate behind it or just washers and a bolt.

or if plastic you can use any type of 2 part epoxy to mount the bolts and do the same setup.

just some options for a clean install.

Thanks a lot guys.

Rocket: You can only see the zip ties if you go really close up. They are black so it blends in with the grille. Good luck with the DIY

I want to use the emblem that comes on the trunk, so I think epoxy will be best. When I take my own pics ill put them up. Thanks again guys for the replys.
