I think it may look thick to you because of the angle & the color not matching. Besides, if you want a thinner one, that'll take 2 more years to produce.

Just go look at the coupe ones they are about the same and look great. I agree that the color being off is what is throwing most people off.

UT, what is the construction of the grill shell? Fiber glass, Polyurethane, FRP....
What about method of attachment? Stock hardware and location? Perhaps some under hood pic plz.

TK- What do you think about the quality of the UT grill? Why did you replace the mesh? How was the fitment? Your grill doesn't look as "thick" as the prototype/final model UT posted...let us know!

i haven't rec'd the final yet so i'll have to hold off on any reviews. i didn't receive mesh w/ the grill since it was a prototype, so i went out and sourced it from customautomesh.com (thx diesel1). i'm the same black car in one of the earlier pictures. the thickness is the same if you can really call it that. imo the problem is that people are expecting it to look exaclty like the coupes, which i don't think will ever happen.
