I "sort of" raced one of those Harley Davidson F-150's. It said supercharged on the side. Some old, mulleted guy was driving it. I didn't think he wanted to race, but when he took off he pulled pretty hard. I redlined it in 1st and 2nd with barely enough time to turn my VDC off. I didn't "squeeze" as there wasn't enough time before there was traffic ahead. I kept up and was pulling in front of him before I had to slam on the brakes.

Does anyone know what the power specs and times are on this Ford? It seemed like a heavy beast, but damn is it fast.

I'm not sure but I think the Lightning has the same setup, but is much lighter since it isn't a crew cab truck like the Harley Davidson Edition F-150. I'd race a lightning with the nitrous switched to "on". Might be interesting.

 

Actually, believe it or not, the Harley is lighter, but it only makes 340 HP while the lightning makes 380. Not hard to bump that up, though.

Harley Davidson F150’s with the stock pulley S/C are fast, but some of them probably already have a smaller pulley on their S/C HD F150 that have at least 400HP making them really fast trucks.

 

Lighning is about 4700 lbs, 380 HP and tons of torque. Spanks about everything. Harley is 5600 lbs, 340 hp still tons of torque and still spanks most things. Both of them go fast , but beat you up. Thats why I now drive a G instead of a white lightning.

 

Are you sure the Harley weighs that much? I read that it actually weighed less than the Lightning.

I fail to see how that is possible. The lightning is a single cab as far as I remember and the Harley I saw was a crew cab truck. It is obvioiusly way heavier.
