Iridium NGK Spark Plugs (LFR5AIX-11)

Just installed these spark plugs yesterday on my '03 98600km sedan and noticed the car pulls harder when accelerating from a stop. I'm actually able to screech my tires when accelerating. Using the old stock plugs, it was impossible to screech them (unless raining).

The technician said the old spark plugs are still good...however I decided to change them as a preventive maintenance...

All I can say is : My car runs like a champion now.

Btw, my car is bone stock except for custom 7 wire grounding wires.

I thought changing spark plugs wouldn't enhance the car's performance, guess I was wrong!

you can gain a bit from smaller electrode spark plugs as long as the engine compression is still good.

thinner electrode means less energy absorbed and more energy to the end place, bit cleaner and more efficient spark.

more costly, most times, but well worth it for most. not to mention you restore the efficiency back that was lost with a used plug even if it was still good.

I run the NGK iridium IX in every motor I have (2 bikes & 3 cars). They are no joke. The Bosch Platinum 2/4 suck. Caused our Honda VTEC to ping even on premium. Put in the NGK's, smooth and quiet on the same tank of gas. Luckily they dont even make a Bosch platinum 2 or 4 that works for the VQ.

No wires exist on the VQ35. A separate coil sits on every plug. The stock OEM plugs will go 50K miles easily.

do these plugs help reduce the notorious spark knock in the rev-up motor?

Not too stupid. Some engines have two plugs per cylender. MOPAR Hemis, for example.
