40 MM offset on sedans

I searched and could not find a concrete answer. I know 35 and 38 are recommended for the sedan as offsets for all around applications; but will 40's all around fit/look good?

chico if your out there help please.

If its an 8.5" wide wheel you can do 40 with no problems, it will look good.

how wide is the wheel? If its over 8.5 it should be right on the edge of the fender and it will look good.

You need to specify the wheel width, but like the rest said you should be fine.

40's will fit fine unless you are going wider than a 9.5" in the rear or 8.5" in the front.

on either 8" to 8.5" the +40 will work with a 245/35 or 245/40 tire all around depending on the size of the wheel (18, 19 or 20). Give us more specifics and we'll help you better so you don't have to worry about it.

You can't go wider than 8.5 in the front.

19x8.5 with 245/40/19 tire all around, will 40 mm be sufficient?

That will be just fine. Not too tucked in and no worries rubbing the fenders.
