Seems like all of the X owners that dropped gets the bounce in the back. I wonder if the rwd with lowered springs and oem shocks have the same issue.
The other thing is, if X owners replaced the rear shocks with z shocks, will that fix the problem.

ask da mayor - he just dropped his 06 6speed on aftermaret springs

lately he has been beating off to the handling of his car, so i guess he is not getting the bouncing issue

I should be going to get an alignment in a couple of days. Although I do think that the negative camber is helping me from not hitting the fender. It looks as though iI will rub against my fender if I get my negative camber fixed.
yeah, you most likly will have a little negative camber in the rear but itll help cornering anyways.......my car has a little negative camber, but nothing bad........hasnt ever rubbed and i got my springs on last summer........

What are your camber specs in the rear? So the oem shocks are still holding up?

Dropped off the car to get an alignment. I will post up the alignment results when they are done.

Flicking the steering wheel and spiking the spring rates sky high as you quickly run out of shock travel, does not make great handling, it makes the illusion of it. He has a 2.2" drop on shocks that are 3/4" TALLER then oem Z shocks. I ran a 2" drop on Tokico D-spec springs, and even with Koni's that are the same lengh as oem Z shocks, I was consistently hitting the bump stops. And I also have special progressive soft Koni bump stops that are shoter then the oem units. You have to actually have suspension travel to get good handling, going with that much drop on springs won't deliver that.

I would think that the issue would be worse amoung those that went with revised oem Z springs since they are 427lbs vs 342lbs in rate.

It's never been a issue that can recall seeing in reviews. I didn't have bounce with oem Z springs revised or unrevised. But I did p/u on rear shock control issues where I do not recommend revised Z springs on any oem sedan shock.

Well, it will fix the problem if you use revised oem rear shocks. However, it will give you a far worse problem. Too much rear dampning stiffen's up the rear to the point that the car is not enjoyable to push anywhere past 7/10th. I hated the setup so much I quickly pulled the rear shocks, very quickly.

I could see someone putting rear Tokico D-specs on since they are double adjustable and not setting them past half way.

Your rear specs looks better than mines thats for sure. Wonder why mines are so off -2.9/-2.5. I will be swapping the rear out with coupe springs soon and then I'll post my alignment specs afterward. Where did you go for your alignment?

If you had read my earlier posts, I was going to install coupe rear springs today but had issues. I have pretty much decided to go back to stock on my X. There's no aftermarket shocks for it and the oem just can't handle it (at least my opinion). If I do go back to stock at least I've been there, done that on the drop.
