I am new to the forum and to the G35 (just picked it up 2 days ago).

I am looking to get my windows tinted about 30% all the way around.

Any suggestions on tint types, and idea of pricing for a sedan, and a local shop suggestions would be great.

welcome to the board and congrats on your new G...i would say get tint that the film is not dyed which is the best quality...for a really good tint, you are looking to spend 200-300 bucks...

 

Welcome, nice to see someone relatively close. There are a ton of shops in Cinci that do premier work. There are a few other Cinci people/N kentucky folks that should be able to hook you up. Color Guard tint around our area runs around $200.00 and its a metallic that holds up well with the climate extremes we see. I suggest staying within the legal limit because you will get pulled over.

I did 20% all around on my car and have been very happy with it. It is not legal in AZ to have more than 35% on your front windows so if you don't want to take the risk check your local laws first.

 

Well Ohio is 50% no darker.

 

Is that just on the front windows or all of them? I would assume just the front.

 

I did 35% in the back and 54% in the front and it looks good. It is iligal in california to have it at all, but I don't care. I segdgest 3M tape or SolarGuard. They are the best. If you have navigation make sure you don't have metal in your tint.
