Does your A/C blow cold air right away when it's 90+ degrees out

i have an 05 G35x with 18K miles. When it's very hot out and the cars been sitting in the sun all day, it takes a good 5 minutes before it starts blowing really cold air. After this the A/C is fine. The car has done this from the time I got it. I mentioned it to the dealer last year and they said that they checked the AC and it was blowing cold air. Of course they didn't check it after the car was sitting for a few hours in the sun. Anyone else experience this problem or is it normal for this car? My wife has and ES330 and it blows cold air from the moment I turn on the A/C and would expect the same for my G35x.

I live in Phoenix where it has been close to 115 the last two weeks, my car is black on black and mine still starts blowing cold air as soon as you turn on the A/C. I have a remote start so if I start it a few minutes before I leave work it is not too bad inside when I come out.

By chance do you have the recirculation button on? If so, it would take longer for the ac to cool the extra hot inside air than outside. If not, get the system checked for low freon.

crack the sunroof and all four windows this will let out the hottest air in your car as heat rises, then get the car moving, A/C will always run better when the car is in motion. But remember it's not just the air that is hot, your upholstery etc are also scorching and those too will have to cool before the car becomes cooler.

Also, if you have the feature, hold down the "unlock" button on the fob and lower all 4 windows - works wonders in allowing hot air to escape prior to entry.

Happens to me too. Not only there is not enough cold air, you got hot air blowing at you too. Why Infiniti didn't fix this is beyond me. This f** heat blowing at me is driving me crazy. I just bought the car for two months. Those of you who had the car for awhile I guess didn't make enough noise so they figure they can get away without fixing the problem.

Sometimes people like sheeps. They don't speak up.

If my car has been sitting out for awhile uncovered on a hot day, it'll blow out hot air at first but quickly (less than 30 seconds) turn to cold air. In my opinion, that is not a problem because the ducts are full of hot air anyway. Now 5 minutes... that's kinda different.

yep my car sits in the sun often in 90-100+ degree heat and it takes way less then a minute to start blowing cold, maybe like 20 seconds

When I do this on my 05 sedan, only the front two windows go down. Is there a way to program it so all 4 go down?

that only works on a sedan with premium (or is it luxury?) package. on mine (sport package only), only front windows roll down.

^100% correct will only work with premium package, although KPTechnologies makes a module if you want to add the feature.

Do hold the button until the front window is all the way down? I know on my 06 premium the front windows go down half way at first, if you continue to hold it, the back windows start to go down once the fronts are half way down.

Maybe it because your ac is ****ed up and ours are running ungodly good. Instead of coming on here and complaining, how about you move your *** to the dealer and have them fix it. You sound like sheep, just sitting here complaining and not taking action and talking to the people who actually need to hear it.

Dont assume something because it makes an *** out of you...
