I drive from Atwater, CA (Merced) to San Diego once a month and did it for the first time with my used G35 sedan on one tank... Barely. Exactly 396 miles.

The mileage is fine on the hwy, but in normal driving, the mileage is terrible!

Holy hell, lol my G hates me.

Stock 2005 G35 coupe w/32K miles getting average 11.5-12mpg. And I am not that heavy on the pedal either. Pretty pathetic, I'm getting pissed as hell with the gas prices. Perhaps its time for an alignment and a full servicing, I guess its sort of close to the time.

The G35 must love the highway. I get 16-17 city no matter how I drive. If I ever get some highway miles, even if it's just a little, I notice a huge difference at the pump.

Mapester - If you are getting 11-12mpg more than once, something must be wrong or you are getting funky gas. At my worst of heavy throttle, late shifts, and short drives, I get 16mpg.

I got horrible gas mileage in the city too, 12-15 mpg. On the highway though, its like 25-30 ! My friend with a coupe says he gets aroung 12 also. That's the only thing I HATE about this car.

I took a 3300+ mile roadtrip last month and averaged 23.64 mpg. My best MPG was 26.49 on a stretch between Carson City, NV and Ely, NV, average speed of 90mph. The only extra weight I had was a suitcase and small ice chest.

I peg the "leaf" on the fuel economy page on the NAVI!!!!! I think that is well over 35mpg!!!

Of course, I have 550cc injectors and the ecu has no idea so it totally throws off MPG calculations.

I drove from Atlanta to Roanoke, VA yesterday in my 03.5 5at sedan. After the first 270 or so miles, I was sitting at a half tank and my girlfriend needed gas for her QX4 so I went ahead and topped off. I popped out the celly and did the math and guess what 30.11 MPG!!!!!!! I was completely stoked! I had about 5-600lb of cargo if you count me, was running half 89 and half 93 octane, and averaged around 70mph (gf had to go slow, she had my 275/35/19's on the roof of her suv hahahah) The only mod I have is a JWT pop-charger and Z-tube. I also ran the A/c the WHOLE TIME at 72 on the lowest fan setting!

Keep your foot out of it unless passing and it works!

.thanks for the heads up
