any 05-06 owners try modifying face duct

has anybody attempted? possibly into an ings style face duct?

that seems like it would look kinda silly....something def has to be done about replacing lower grills

i put spome octagon mesh behaind the stock grille. it looks ok and it stop all the leafs from gething in my radiator
