Fast Intentions Annihilator Exhaust Feeler

wow, giving it a different name doesn't explain how it works. the valve adjusts the opening based on pressure?

perhaps we already have one?

well the list is going..
I am sure there are many sedan owners taht are NOT happy with they have and wanna try something else that sounds nice and gives "some" power gain..
I guess the most important factor here is sound, look and tuning potential =)
we all know that vq35 is no domestics, and it wont show huge gains by snapping on an exhaust unless a proper tune is done. That's why I emphasize on tuning potential here

I think you got enough people for sure, plus many might have not seen the thread and others will join by the time you are finished.
Also, I think you should make two versions, as some people don't like it loud and others want twin tip (quad actually). I think everyone can agree on no drone.
Keep us updated!

I would like to add my name to the list and add my suggestions.
I would like to see a NON POLISHED exhaust please. I see no point in spending tons of money on something that is UNDER my car. Having the muffler polished would be okay and of course the tips.
And of course I would like for the exhaust to have zero resonance in the cabin if possible. I'm not opposed to exhaust noise but not when it resonates inside the cab. I've been waiting to hear back on a used Stillen but I loved the Coupe exhaust note so much that I would be willing to spend the extra cash and get yours.
And I also agree that flex coupling/joints be part of the design.

All -
I just want to say that for 24 hours - the response so far is just great and right in line with what we've been working on and outlining already for the most part.
Keep it coming and spread the word. The more info, examples, pictures, sound clips, etc. the better system you will end up with.
Thanks again for your support!

1. I think the name "X-celerator" would be better assuming it will use an X-pipe.
2. I would be nice to have it be a 3 section setup
Front = From cats to crossover outlets
Mid = From crossover outlets to resonator outlets
Rear = Multiple options should be available (dual
individual/straight throughs, single can/dual in/out
tips, single can/dual in/single out tip etc).
3. Have some support mounts up front to help with testpipes/cats that may not have stock brackets included. I know thats helping the competition, but it could be a selling point if a guy has unsupported cats etc.
4. The rear section options would be nice to custom fit to taste without having to retool the whole thing.
5. 2 sets of braided SS flex couplings (pre-resonator and post resonator). Will help alot with cabin vibe/drone.

I'm in as well. Have the Borla TD now, but for future FI plans 3" TD is the way to go...I think Ballisticus' idea is a really good one...configurable rear section is the way to go to make everyone happy.
For me the ideal setup is relocate the evap canister and have tips on either side...either dual walled or single (Ti heat treated looks nice)...just not too big (no coffee cans)
