Sorry if this is a repost since I haven't been on this board since I've traded in my G35 sedan.
I received a letter today stating that some customers have experienced some degree of perforation due to corrosion in the door sash area (doors/door frame). Because of this, Infiniti is extending the corrosion coverage by 3years (total 10yrs/unlimited miles). There is a sticker at the bottom that you stick on your warranty information booklet and it applies to 2003-2005 model year sedans.
Again, sorry if this is a repost.

I got this recently too. Where exactly are they talking about in the door? Anywhere in the door? should we take out door panels off and look inside?
On mine, it was clearly visible right near the drivers door seal on the doors and body in certain area's, mainly near the lower corner of the door near the B-pillar. You can also peal the seals back to see if its been contaminated.

I got this letter yesterday. How bad was your's Loe, can you post a pic? There is a earlier thread on the sash rust. The corrosion warranty has been extended to 10 years, unlimited mileage, it states "as it applies to perforation due to corrosion of the door and door frame, extending this coverage from 7 years unlimited miles to 10 years unlimited mileage"
