I know this has been discussed MANY, MANY, times, and trust me I've read all of them, but for those who did the intake as your first mod, was it worth it? Or would you rather have gone for tint, springs, spacer, etc.?

Don't mean to hijack the thread - just seemed a good opportunity to ask.

Dealer tinted mine, so it was not my mod. My first was a Z-tube and K & N filter.

I felt it was worth it. Just depends though... you want better handling or more power? Which is bigger to you. For me, I want my power more than my already-decent handling.

I have to change what I hate about a car. I HATE huge wheel gap, and very few factory wheel designs and sizes please me. So suspension and wheels+tires are usually the first things to change on my cars.

1. pro-kit > 3" gap
2. staggered 19"s > weak 17"s

For what I paid (used Z-tube, new K&N for $80), yes it was worth it. However, It made very little change in performance. But, there is nothing I could have bought for $80 that would have.
