cleaning COLD AIR filter
ive got my regular bs service coming up for my in cabin, oil, air filter, and was wondering if my injen cold air filter needs to replaced or can it be cleaned?
I think you are asking if you can use the K & N cleaner on the Injen filter? If so, yes. Just make sure you follow the directions carefully. Also, might be better to have a replacement filter while the original one is being cleanered and re-oiled.

Why? it takes an hour at the most to clean and oil the original. Just do it when you dont have to drive anywhere for a little while.
I think what PDT means is if you have a spare you dont have to wait for one to dry. You can clean the other at your convenience.
I have 2 and switch out when needed. The spare I clean when I have time.

+1 wait for it to dry. Don't spray the oil on till the water dries, and don't put it on till the oil dries. Don't want oil messing up any sensors and such.
