in socal, there are soooo many cars with blackouts darker than the 6/10. Cops don't have the time out here to pull you over for blackouts. The only problem is when the break lights are too dim - even with the blackouts. G35s don't have that problem cuz the taillights are so bright already - even with the blackouts, the lights are brighter than many older stock cars.
I would dare say that I'd even go darker than the 6/10 - you still get a good amount of red hue come through in direct sunlight.
So I'd say get 6/10 - and they're pretty easy to put on yourself with a little patience.
