I would like to inform fellow G35 owners that Infiniti has extended the paint warranty on G35 models from 2003 to 2005 an additional 3 years. The 3 year increase now means the paint is covered for 10 years unlimited kilometers. I received a letter from Agincourt Infiniti in Toronto Canada yesterday stating that the period of coverage has been increased. Apparently early models G35s have "perforation due to corrosion in the door sash area”. The letter includes a sticker that is to be adhered to the inside of the owners manual to remind the owner of the extended warranty coverage.

2005 Obsidian Black G35 5AT Saloon, clear corners, Nismo pedals, aftermarket Sony Nav, Sports and premium packages.

 

paint???? I thought it was rust???

Stupid Agincourt, they are prompt enough with the letters reminding me of scheduled maintenance. No notice about this extended warranty though.

 

Agree. I have never owned a car that chipped the paint so easily from normal driving. I have countless small chips on from bumper and hood. There should be a recall for this condition.
