if we go beyond style what setup provides for the most neutral setup? 225 and 245 staggered or 245s all around? I dont think the power (stock plus a little) really needs more than 245...I have also heard that really low profile while it looks awesome isnt the best for performance.
let me know what you guys have seen or experienced.

I had 245's all around before I went to 10's in the rear and my SC. With minor mods the 245's were great. With the low end torque from the SC I needed more traction in the rear so went to 275's. They seem to fit but a little wider would help with my launches.

did you have a staggered setup or 245s all aroud?

no. it's only an 8.5" rear. if you had a taller profile tire, you could pull it off....maybe a 275/40.

275 is a bit wide for a 8.5" I would go with a 255/35. For reference 245/35's were almost a perfect 90 degree on my front 8.5's.

yeah the 40 seem a bit too chunky though. what always confused me was all4 oem 18's sedan tires were the same size as my 2 oem 19's...meaning the sedans are only 8inches all around?
