DIY question - changing coolant and bleeding air
i have "bad" experience with changing coolant (and bleeding air) for an old Nissan. So i want make sure i do the right thing for the G. I have read the manual and have some questions.....
1) do you need to raise the front of the car ? (
2) when you refill coolant to the radiator, the air relief plug should be opened. Do you actually see coolant coming out when you refill the radiator ?
3) in the manual, it says turn the temp lever to HOT. And of course we don't have the temp lever. I guess we just need to set the temp to 80-85 degrees ?
Any other tips will be appreciated...
thanks

I had my car up in the air the last time I did a flush.
If you bleed the air out quickly then you will have some coolant come out as well. Not a big deal but try and clean as much of it as you can.
I just filled mine, bleed the air out, started it and let it warm up, let it cool down and check for air, repeat as needed....
