AC Problems?

I have a 03 sedan and my compressor was making noise at throttle. Does anyone else have this problem?

I brought the car to the dealer and am getting the car fixed under an aftermarket warranty. They said that they are only going to cover used parts. They have already sent out 4 compressors and 3 of the 4 have had bad connectors. The last one had a bad clutch and was making louder noise then mine was. The dealer said that since they were getting so many bad ones that the warranty place will cover and new one but I have to by some kind of adaptor kit because its an updated compressor. So I have to dish out an extra like 700 or so. They were saying that if they put in a new compressor that is the same that I had that they cant guarantee that the noise will go away and with the new updated one you have to change the brackets and some hoses and lines. Something about the new hoses having a filter so that some metal wouldnt get in. Has anyone ever heard of this? Please give me your input and what you think.

Yea, thats it. But since my car isnt under the factory warranty, they want to charge me for the adaptor kit to mount the new compressor. thats an extra like 400 dollars or something like that.
