Has anyone noticed a somewhat humming noise (hard to describe) from the front when driving at 60mph? it happens to me exactly at 60 and stops if im below or above 60 mph. I took it to the dealer for something else and asked them to check this out also and they told me that they couldn't hear anything and sure enough when i drove out from there on highway i could hear the noise. I have a 04 sedan.

 

Tire noise, maybe? It often develops at 8-10K miles or so, especially with high performance tires if they're wearing unevenly. What tires do you have and how many miles on them?

 

I have about 38k mi. on it and I replaced the OEM tires thinking that was the problem and got Toyo Proxies T1R's still the noise remains.

 

Oh the tires are new just replaced them only driven like 4-5k mi. since I got them.

 

Just take the wheels off - one at a time and replace them being very careful to use the correct tightening sequence. They may just be a little off center. This happens to me all the time. It can also be balance.
