power steering

my fu*ken power steering went out yesterday
anyone have this problem???? theres oil in the reservoir
and it seems like it goes on and off

just curious- have you done any burnouts and cut the wheel?

I would visit the dealer, if you still are under the full warranty definately go.

The reason i ask...

Is because when you cut the wheel, the power steering pump - at high rpms - will produce alot of power assist. It isn't really designed for this, and usually grenades. Has happened to many old pals back in the HS days.

I was wondering if having larger, wider wheels would cause extra wear on the power steering pump? Not saying it's directly related to this, just curious if anyone knows?

There are aftermarket powersteering coolers out there that are made for wider tires and people who go autox
