G35S Trunk Lid Spoiler

I'm looking to purchase UnlimitedTuning's Small or Medium lid spoiler for my G35xS. Any comments from people who have painted and installed the spoiler? Also, I'm still undecided if I should get the small. Anyone have pictures? Thanks!

How did you install it? Did you do it yourself? Did you need to drill holes?

M3 spolier install

Mine has been a pain in the a$$ to install. The double sided (3M Auto Tape) keeps losing it's grip on the corners. May be the wind hitting it while driving, or just outright user error. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. It looks great when it is on, but has been a headache thus far. Here is how it looks installed.

I got mine on E-bay

http://www.unlimitedtuning.com/aeroUTK1.htm
seems to have to spoilers that fit the G35 specifically.

However I only spent $30 on Ebay. Here is a link for Ebay

http://search.ebay.com/search/search...g35+spoiler+m3

These look a bit cheaper.

I then spent about $100 to have it painted. -Make sure they paint the whole spoiler (my body shop only painted the top surface) because the 3M tape sticks great to paint, not so great to the non-painted spolier surface. That has been my big installation headache

UT is very bad at updating their website...they now sell the GTR grill for the sedan, yet they don't advertise it on their website and they don't sell the G1 (small) spoiler any more due to low sales in that product (even though it's listed on their site)..more people they said bought the G2 (medium) one, so they are still selling that (reason I know is I went to buy the small one & they told me they no longer sell it). I just purchased the medium spoiler myself.

I would also do the M3 lip spoiler like Vodka's car. I am even thinking about taking off my oem one to change it to the M3.

The UTR grille is great! It made a big difference on my car.

Thank you.

Thanks for all the great stuff!
Between the CF Z-tube, CF battery covers, grille and roof spoiler I almost have the full sedan collection!
