POST PIXS those of you that have painted and those that have the overlays I am debating if I should paint or get overlays.

I did them the same way I did my clear bra:

- Use a water solution with a little baby shampoo to keep them wet while you get them in place.
- Use a small squeegee or wrapped credit card to clear out the water and adhere them.
- Razor blade for the excess trimming.
- Make sure it is warm so you can stretch them as needed.

I had a little trouble around the bulge on outside of the 05+ tail but otherwise it was not bad. Took me a little over an hour.

Sorry you guys are having trouble. It sucks to waste money and time when things don't turn out like you expcted. You might try a shop that does vinyl decals on cars. They would be able to do these for you.

i tinted many tail lights and i will tint before overlays any day... and you CAN reverse tail light tinting...

u cant reverse tail light painting from testor's thought unless u sand it off and buff completely and apply a clear coat
