I never put overlays on a car, but I think I would give it a shot myself before painting the tails. There's no turning back once they are painted.

I was under the impression that any tint shop could do the overlays, but I guess that is not true. Good luck.

yeah the overlays are impossible to put on. Night shade is a transparent spray. Ive used it on tails before.

putting those overlays on are nearly impossible...i went to a pro tint shop and he fukd it up worse then i did...had the nerve to charge me 30$ but thats another story...if i were you i dont think i would spray them because u cant go back if you dont like the look...the tinter recommended that i should have just put regular tint on it and they will cut it perfectly...jmo

I put on the GTR overlays with no problems.

I would do them way before trying to paint them. I tinted the tail lights on my old SE-R and they did not look as good as the overlays.

ttrank i dont know how you put them on with no problems...i envy you lol...it took me about 2hours and it still came out bad...i think the pre-cut wasn't a perfect fit for me and it was a bit** around the taillight bend to get a perfect fitment...i wish someone in the new york area could put them on and even a damn tint shop screwed them up...thats why i gave up on them lol
