there have been some reports that painted housing headlights you see being sold on ebay have some fitment issues. otherwise, if you can do it right, do it! and post pics.

Flat black would look sick. The gloss black would be just like the new Vette's

A guy at my work just did his flat black and it looks like crap. I think it needs to be semi-gloss. The flat just makes them look like cheap aftermarket headlights.

I have a black auto. In the winter I am definetly going to go for paint-matched (gloss) black and not the flat black.

all them super expensive exotic autos have them color-matched

Color matched really seems the way to go.

Any opinions on a set of color-matched to IP?

Here's one clearcorners did in IP...

For me OEM color matching is the only way to go unless you got some sort of custom two tone paint scheme... Flat black looks ok, but I think your better off color matching.. IMO...

Although keep in mind Nissan/Infiniti lighter colors are not easy to color match, If you ever look at the bumper/sideskirts of the factory bodykit for the G35 you know what I mean... With that said Im not sure how close they can match the IP headlights with the rest of the car...

I've been considering blacking out my lights. I've got an IP sedan, with black wheels and I think it would complete the look. But it's so *permanent*. I'd like to get an extra set of lights to modify.
