Diconnected driverside air bag

I took my seat out to fix adj. controls. Dissconected air bag for driver's seat, now my airbag light want stop flashing. Everything is now connected, but still flashing. I've already searched and could not find how to fix this. Help me please, I dislike the dealer.

Thanks, K-S-W

try restting the computer. I would suggest removing the battery and pump brake lights a couple of times. The pedal method might work too but i would do the full drain no power style since it is your air bag.

You need to reset the airbag module. I had the same problem when I put in my coupe seats.

Get in the car and turn the ignition (don't start) on for ~8 seconds the car will do a check and the airbag light will come on solid. As soon as it goes off (but before it flashes) turn it back off. Repeat this 3-5 times and it will reset your airbag system.

If you didn't disconnect anything and the light came on you should check under your seat to make sure it didn't get caught and come unplugged. Then do the reset.

Just recently my passenger airbag light would turn on then off. I've never messed around with my seats such as taking them out, would it work if i just resetted it?

It might. The same module controls them. The reset is not just for the seats.
