i, myself, have done three HID retros on other cars before. on those cars, HID did not come stock. but, it was only a weekend job. the longest part is waiting for the paint and glue to dry. since we already have hid on them (ballast, bulbs, and wiring)...all we need is just a pair of projectors (i personnel like tsx lens with 300zx bowls) and mounting equipments and alignments of the headlights....a weekend job like excluesiveonez said. good luck....and, my advice....measure twice before you start cut anything.

Quote: cmon guys this retro stuff really isnt too hard and since we have hid's it shoudl only cost a weekend, the price of the projectors and the cost of a new pair of d2r bulbs

For projectors you need D2S bulbs or you can scrape the coating off your D2R's.

Quote: How much would it cost ya?

I'm looking at overnighting them back and forth and it would be well over $100 each way!

Started when I got home last night for a while and worked on them most of the day today. I'm almost done, just waiting for paint to dry.

Done!

I started a new thread with the results. It's also in the sedan section.
