I did not do the paint myself, I had my body shop guy match the paint, mixed fresh! I can refer anyone in the Bay Area to him and get a special rate, so long as I am there to work it out for you.

Paint.
I specifically did not paint that bottom most lip, because first off, I think it looks nasty when it is painted, and second, I did not want the paint to get chipped off, and expose the paint to oxygen.
The color matching is literally perfect on the sides and the rear bumper, and slightly lighter for the front lip. This is due to painting on plastic. Painting on plastic will generate a different color than on polyurethan or metal.

For the Wet Sanding.

Use 2000 Grit sand paper, and literally dip it in water, and sand your headlight until you get even sanding, and you have covered the surface of the abrasion. I used a polish compound on the buffer and buffed them to even out any scratches, etc. from sanding. I then buffed it with a finishing compound. they look beautiful.highly reccomend DIY to anyone!

Total Cost: just so i dont **** anyone off, >$500
yes, my mechanic loves me.

thanks for the compliments,

any questions please PM me
Where can I get 2000 grit sand paper? Auto parts store? The only sandpaper I've seen @ hardware store is in the 100's....

your lower portion of the front bumper looks way too light

I understand that the color depends really on the paint mixer,
that's why I only let the guy that I know to do it lol...

On my 05 sedan,I use a product by Meguiars called PLASTX, it takes the haze out of the headlights very nicely.I also use it for the tailights. If you need 2000 grit sandpaper you can get it at most auto body paint suppliers.

In most cases you need to go to a paint store. I get mine at the local Sherwin Williams automotive paint shop.

If you guys want to get rid of your headlight haze for ever just use plastic cleaner and polish then put on the 3M (or any other) headlight overlays. Not only do they protect your headlights from rocks and debris they absorb the UV rays that are causing the haze.

I got my car used and the headlights were bad. I was able to get them clean again but it came back over and over for a few months. I installed the very thick 3M overlays and have never had a problem since. That was about 9 months ago.

Sorry for the newbie question, but where can you order or get the 3M overlays for the headlights? Are they pre cut?

BTW, I think I will also get my sills painted as well... how much should that cost roughly?

Thanks!
