Coupe Seats

Just took delivery if an 06 G35 sedan. I much prefer the bucket seats in the coupe. Has anyone replaced the sedan seats with buckets from the coupe?

Thanks.

Quick answer...YES...search for the thread-involves some modding.

ttrank - good choice keeping them from the sedan! BTW - I wasn't even aware that the coupe had different seats than the sedan until I saw the picts you posted up on a different thread. That kills me that they made 2 different types of seats for the G35...just because one has 2 doors...and one has 4!? Performance-wise, the cars are the same (Ok..let's hope a coupe member doesn't see this thread & then go off on how the coupe is better ), so why would they put seats w/ better side bolsters in the coupe than in the sedan!? That's the one thing I hate about the seats in our sedans.....lack of enough side/lateral support!

I'm not sure but I agree. It sure would have saved me some $$$ if they would have been the same.

How did you end up getting coupe seats ttrank? I would love to have the coupe seats as they help big time for those HPDE days.

Perhaps he did search and you're forgetting how bad the search functionality is on these boards. A search for "coupe seats" would yield all the theads with either "coupe" or "seats."
