Since last 2 times whenver i fill up the G the fuel meter shows one bar less than "F" although i try to fill gas more and it wont take it.

Same problem here, just started 2 fill-ups ago. Haven't had time to have the dealer check it out though. I'm interested in feed back on this as well.

I just started having same problem. The last time I filled up, it stayed just under F for about 20 miles, then went to the top!

yeah someone local mentioned a TSB on this but he said the symptoms were that he could only fill it up half way and then it would jump up to 3/4 and drop to half way again (or something like that)

On a nearly empty tank I can get 15.5 gallons but shows a hair short of F (not half way)

Dont know if its the same problem

It's either the faulty sending unit (in the tank), or it's the splash-back valve at the bottom of the filler neck that sticking and not allowing complete fillups.

Dealer time.

Have the same problem and I know in my case its not the vent flapper issue the TSB covers. Because I originally thought the problem to be the vent valve I filled it until gas spashed out. Yes, I know this isn't a good idea but did once to see if I could completely fill the tank. Anyway, the gauge is reading low as described above. According to the dealer this is recurring problem with this car and I have scheduled a trip to have my sender replaced.

My 05 sedan did that. It started off that it would shut off and spit back if I tried to add more fuel, usually resulting in gas running down the side of the car . The needle would be just a tad below the full. It got worse. The dealer said it was the shutter valve which they ordered and installed. It is a common problem and there is a TSB out on it. The car is fine now.

I had the following TSB performed, last year. It was done shortly after I purchased my G. It resolved my particular problem with regard to not being able to fill up with fuel tank.
