Look at the sticker on the driver side door sill, the date should be somewhere around '05-03' or '06-03' and up. I'm not 100% positive on the numbers tho, as i have an 05.

i got my 03 with 48k for 16500 at an auction. maybe you can get an 04 now since it is closer to the end of the year for about the same price? And to achieve the look of the 06 maximas just do a retro fit (http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/) to help you out. Good luck.

i will prolly wait like 6-7 months to get it because im sure the price will depreciate even more due to the 07 body change so well see if i can ****** up a 04 hopefuly i can get the one with auto/manual

you can't miss the 03 doggy door. every other year since has the solid trunk w/ the infiniti letters spaced far apart. the doggy door has all the letters on the small plastic panel. the 03s were'nt offered w/ the satellite option on the radio. if the car is Bose equipped and the radio has a "SAT" button on it, then there's a good chance it's an 03.5+

engine-awsome!! very realiable.
but there are some problems on some certain parts of the car.i bought my 03.5 6mt about 5 months ago and went in for service about 7 times already and i think it's because 03's are the first generations made and first gens usually have problems..
but i love it!!! except the fact that im paying too much for it..both monthly and service fees..
if you wanna have fun with your car and dont mind spending money on tuneups i say get it!!

if you want a car to last until your an old man you should really look into getting a lexus they are by far the most reliable brand out there. Had a Ls 400 for 6 years (I had it for two years) and it was problem free. 230k and probably still going (sold it). And it will stil be "pimpin" go with an Is300 since the new model is out the price should go down.

Lexuses don't really last that long... it just SEEMS that way as they are so damned boring.
