Z Tube gain
Z Tube gain
Hi all,
I've been reading so far about replacing our intake pipe with the Z pipe. I notice that most when replace the pipe, also replace the filter box, either with Stillen or K&N. What is the benefit of just replacing the pipe and nothing else.
Thanks.

Re: Z Tube gain
I just bought one from my350z.com for $53 shipped. The whole assemply with air box is part of the deal. Can I make any use for the airbox? It seemto me $50.00 is about the right price for the Z tube, how much did you guy got yours for?

Re: Z Tube gain
*FREE*- I scored mine. Not really a noticable gain, but definitly sounds better. If you see a Z with an aftermarket intake, just ask and maybe you too could be as lucky as I was.
P.S.
For those who care. I drive a Silver Sedan 6MT CA license plate "KRZ HAYN" = "Krazy Hawaiian". A "Shaka" is always welcome.
