Oh, okay, that's what I told them I thought it meant, makes sense to me! Actually, I'm glad it was a stone, and not a prob with the car, guess it's just making up for years I went without cracking a windshield! That's too bad about your sunroof, did it shatter while opening it or what?

No, I was driving on interstate at 60 though town and then all hell broke loose. Pow, and then glass raining down. Thought someone shot out my window or something. Very strange. Still dont know what it was. Very cold outside that day and had the heat on high. Differential temp could have stressed it out. I would suggest keeping the internal cover closed when not using it.

okay I just discovered mine cracked...

and it is from the middle bottom of the front window. It is about 3 inches high... Is this what everyone is having?

My windshield cracked 2 weeks ago. The dealer looked at it and stated that I had taken a stone at the top of the windshield where it meets the roof. They would not replace it. I will have to talk to my insurance.
