It's true.

I did put the TN kit on my sedan. I think I am the 1st revup sedan with a TN kit on it.

I used a "tuner" 350Z kit and a UTEC.

I was waiting until I had everything finished and tuned. I haven't had a chance to finish my tuning yet.....or get to a dyno.

yup. I did it in my garage with a set of ramps. I took my time and did it over about 5 days. I also wrapped all the exhaust piping prior to install. I also bought extra insulating wrap for the A/C lines.

Quadcam,

Did you have to mod the 350z kit at all to make it fit?

And did you get the UTAC preloaded with TN base maps?

Thanks...I am on the fence whether to go Vortech or ST/TT next year, was leaning towards the Vortech since they have the Revup kit out but your posts have caught my interest...

TurboXS does have a TN base map. I had them email it to me, but I didn't use it. I just tuned it at a very slow and methodical pace!

I used the 350Z "tuner" kit for the regular VQ35 engine. The only mods that were needed for the sedan were a slightly different fitment on the power steering cooler. Other than that, everything is the same.

I chose the 350z kit because I didn't want the intercooler fan kit. The 05 and 06 sedan bumbers are more open than the coupe bumper. (the intercooler is more exposed to the air.) I also liked the intake tube location better ont he 350Z kit. To fit the intake tube through the bumper took a bit of confidence to complete. The A/C lines are right where that tube goes through the bumper. I had to bend (very slowly and carefully) the A/C lines out of the way; then, I had to cut a hole (easy) for the tube to fit through.

finally, because my engine is a "revup", I had to "dimple" the black chrome tube that comes up the front of the engine. It wasn't bad and you can't see my hammer-work!. I also needed a slightly longer section of 3" silicone hose. These 2 mods are necessary because the revup front engine cover is larger than the regualr engine's front cover.
